Rugby Food bank - We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Access to Parenting Advice and Support
Family Support Worker Helpline 01926 412412 is available for parents and can support with all issues relating to parenting. They can offer immediate FSW advice and signposting to access immediate help.

FREE NHS Solihull Approach online parent guides
The NHS Solihull Approach online courses are designed to increase the confidence of parents-to-be, mums, dads, grandparents, and carers. NHS experts and parents have developed them through an evidence-based model known as the Solihull Approach.
There are numerous courses for parents and carers that cover from the antenatal period through to parenting teenagers. There are also courses for adults on topics including understanding relationships and trauma, for teenagers including understanding your brain and feelings, and courses for professionals including understanding attachment and trauma.
All the courses can be completed flexibly, at your own pace. Each of the course modules takes around 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Each course contains several modules.
All the courses are FREE for Warwickshire residents using the access code BEAR.

They offer the following courses:
- Parents Together for families with primary school aged children and under
- Let’s Play Online is aimed at parents of young children to help them develop play and learning
- Coping with Teens is for parents, carers and other family members looking to strengthen the bond with their teen
- New Baby in the Family is for parents looking for ideas and resources to help manage the new change in the family (available in English, Pashtu, and Arabic)
- Bringing Up Confident Children is for parents looking to create a supportive and nurturing environment for children that can help them flourish, manage their feelings and build resilience to help cope with challenges
- Sibling Arguments and How to Manage Them is for parents, carers and other family members to help manage conflicts in family life, particularly between siblings or children in the household.
Rise Recovery & Wellbeing Academy - https://www.recoveryandwellbeing.co.uk Home - Recovery and Wellbeing The Recovery and Wellbeing Academy offers a learning approach to recovery and wellbeing that compliments existing services provided by Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust and Coventry and Warwickshire Mind. The academy offers a wide range of FREE courses and workshops designed to empower people in recognising their skills, abilities and resources and learning to become experts in their own recovery and wellbeing. Courses are open to anyone over the age of 18 living in Coventry & Warwickshire.
