We use a range of quotes and stories as part of collective worship. Some examples of these can be seen below.
School Vision
Our school vision is based on the Parable of the Sower. We discuss how we can be like the good soil, supporting others and making good choices in the world. We also consider how we can grown and flourish together.
Courage
Daniel in the lion's den - Christians believe that God will help and guide them, even in the most impossible of situations.
David and Goliath - Christans believe that anything is possible with faith in God.

Generosity
The creation story - the generosity of God in creating the world
The Good Samariton - being generous and showing love to help others

Respect
God's very good idea - everyone is unique and valuable, including different types of families. Christians believe that everyone is made in God's image.

The friend who forgives - forgiving one another when you make a mistake
The parable of the unforgiving servant - forgiving others, even if they make a mistake, and being patient with one another.

Zaccheus - telling the truth, even when it is hard to do so
Adam and Eve - telling the truth and trying not to give in to temptation

Thankfulness
The Garden, the curtain and the cross – Christians are thankful for Jesus
The story of creation – being thankful for the world and everything in it
School lunchtime prayer – ‘Thank you for the world so sweet, thank you for the food we eat, thank you for the birds that sing, thank you God for everything’
