Family Information Service
Warwickshire offer a free information and signposting service for families with children and young people aged 0 – 25 and professionals working with families in Warwickshire.
They cover a wide range of family related topics such as childcare, mediation and contact, divorce and separation, finance, health, bullying, support groups and parenting support.
At Harvest time, we hold a collection for food donations for Hope 4, Rugby, a local homeless shelter. At Christmas we carry out a reverse advent throughout advent, collecting Christmas treats and food which are also donated to Hope 4.
We are lucky that every year during the Autumn the local community support the school by donating pumpkins for carving and decorations.
The whole school works together to create poppy wreathes and crosses to lay on local war memorials ready for Remembrance Day.
At the beginning of December, some of the local church wardens come into school with Reverend Anne. We make Christingles to use in our own Christingle service with Reverend Anne, and we also make the Christingles that are used throughout the local parish churches.
We make the most of our countryside location by working with our local farmers who bring animals into school to support the children's learning.
